Nutritious
food plays a major rule in constructing a healthy life. More nutritious food
more is energetic life, more is energy, more you are healthy. Sometimes people
get involved in conflicts in deciding the food. In a broad there are six basics
food essential for a healthy diet. They are Proteins, Fats, Carbohydrates,
Vitamins, Minerals and Water.
Proteins
are complex compounds containing nitrogen which is essential in the building
and repairing of tissues and cells. They also act as resistance to diseases and
helps in wound healing. If the diet is deficient in protein, body may fail to
provide resistant to numerous infections, it was estimated that about 1 gram of
protein is required each day for each 2.2 pounds of body weight and even more
for growing children and pregnant women.
Second important food essential is fat which a combination of glycerol and
fatty acids is primarily are the energy houses. Fats are burned inside the body
giving out carbon dioxide and water with the liberation of energy. Plant and
animal fats are equally well digested and absorbed. Whole milk, butter, meat
etc are the good source of fat. On the other hand carbohydrates are the
compounds containing carbon, oxygen and hydrogen and are used as a primary
source of energy. It is used as an indispensable fuel for the body.
Carbohydrates exert a protective influence on human health in variety of ways.
Food rich in carbohydrates are starch, sugar, cellulose and gum. Vitamins and
minerals are the elements which are necessary for the normal functioning and
structure of the body. Vitamins are related to vision, health of liver,
resistance to infections, health in pregnancy, bone growth, health of the teeth
and many more. Minerals too play a vital role in a human health. Calcium,
phosphorus, iron, sodium, potassium, chlorides, iodine and other traces of
elements like copper, zinc, cobalt etc. are all essential to human health.
Water is very much important fluid in body carrying sodium, potassium, chloride
ions. And its deficiency is very dangerous.
In
order to have a good health nutritious food is very much important and should
be regular. Healthy foods add nutrients to mind and brain which in turn add
happiness and activeness in your life.
