Eating a healthy food is not the road to good health, indeed one has to be physically fit and emotionally strong in order to have a healthy life. Caring of your teeth is as much important as having essential nutrients in our diets. Healthy teeth are a mark of healthy smile. It is like a person purchasing best raw materials but his machines are already rusted so how can one think of good productivity. Same is case with teeth, a person suffering from tooth decay eating healthy diet can it be called a healthy person.
There are many causes of tooth decay and they last adverse effects on small 32 machines. Scientific research has established that in the majority of cases tooth decay is caused by the production of acids in the mouth by the bacteria. They attack and destroy the surface of tooth. They manufacture acids when they have access to sugars inside the mouth. Apart from this, neglecting the problems in mouth like bleeding of gums, pain in the jaws may result in the serious loss of teeth. The diseases like Trench mouth, pyorrhea has serious impairment on dental health if neglected. Bleeding gum is also the commonest complaint due to improper brushing.
One should be very conscious and careful towards dental health and should seek medical check-up. To avoid acid production one should use antibiotics like streptomycin and tyrothricin or release of ammonia in the saliva. Rinsing out the mouth with water promptly after the eating of sweets can make a sufficient contribution to the health of teeth. Such a rinse would remove much of sugar present in the mouth. Also fluorides helps in reducing dental decay if there amount is highly diluted in drinking water.  It was established that having fluoride amount of about one part per millions part of water, there will be no blackening of teeth and the extent of dental decay can be reduced.
